when its a Diwali we indians always make naankhatai our moms used to make simple naankhatais with flavors of elaichi which would taste heaven,but as time changed we bought little variations by adding flavors to it,I tried my naankhatais in chocolate flavor with Hersheys syrup and Hersheys coco powder,believe me the taste is awesome,friends give a try to this chocolate pistachio naankhatai

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  3. 1/2 cup Ghee
  4. 2tsp graam flour
  5. 2 tsp Hersheys unsweetened coco powder
  6. 2 tbsp hersheys choclate syrup
  7. 2tbsp semolina
  8. 50 gms pistachio flakes

Instructions

  1. in a big bowl take ghee and sugar
  2. whisk it till it turns fluffy and light
  3. now add all purpose flour
  4. add graam flour
  5. add semolina
  6. add cocoa powder
  7. add Hersheys chocolate syrup
  8. now bind the dough
  9. add pistachio
  10. make round balls
  11. press these ball
  12. roll in pistachio flakes
  13. make all naankhatai and keep in baking tray
  14. bake for 28 minute in preheated oven on 150 degrees
  15. remove from oven and cool it completely
  16. store in air tight containers
  17. it can be enjoyyed for 15 days
