Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gram flou 1+1/2cup
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Chilli powder 1/2tsp
  4. Coriander powder 1sp
  5. Hing pinch of
  6. Cumin seed 1/4sp
  7. Ajwain 1/4 sp
  8. Coriander leaf chop 1/2cup
  9. Oil 1-2tsp for tempering
  10. Oil 3-4 tbsp for frying (more if required)

Instructions

  1. Take gram flour in a mixing bowl add salt , chilli powder , coriander powder n carom seed add water n make paste without any lumps.
  2. Add more water n make thin batter.
  3. Take a tadka pan add oil put put on flame add asafetida , carom seed ,cumin crackle it add this tadka in mixture n mix it.
  4. Add coriander leaf mix well.
  5. Put the nonstick pan on flame add besan batter in pan and cook it .when batter get thick switch off the flame.
  6. Now take a plate n freeze with oil spread the flour mixture n keep aside for set it( I'm setting this batter in fridge for half hour)
  7. Now cut in square pieses n de mold the pieces.
  8. Put some oil in nonstick pan/tawa on flame and fry all wadi both side until get crisp.
  9. Now ready to eat kothembir badi serve with ketchup/chutney / fresh curd.
