ABOUT Vada Pav Bruschetta RECIPE

Bruschetta, pronounced as "brusketta," is a very popular Italian starter/appetizers that can be easily made at home. Traditional Italian bruschetta is sliced bread toasted over coal, rubbed with raw garlic cloves and topped with olive oil and salt. I always order bruschetta as it is my favorite appetizer. Today we will learn how to make bruschetta with our Indian burger i.e Vada Pav following this easy recipe. It tastes amazing and now you can also serve Vada Pav Bruschetta at Parties or Occasions by giving it a Fusion Twist.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 5 Medium Sized Potatoes (Boiled and Coarsely Mashed)
  2. Few Curry Leaves
  3. 8 - 10 Cloves of Garlic
  4. 1 Big Piece of Ginger
  5. 5 Green Chillies
  6. Coriander Leaves
  7. 1/2 Tsp - Mustard Seeds
  8. 1 & 1/2 Tbsp of Oil
  9. 1 & 1/2 Cup Gram Flour
  10. Pinch - Turmeric Powder
  11. Pinch - Asafoetida (Hing)
  12. Butter
  13. French Loaf
  14. Spicy Chutney
  15. Sweet Chutney

Instructions

  1. Method For Potato Filling : Grind the aromatics i,e, Chillies, Ginger, Garlic
  2. Heat 1&1/2 Tbsp of oil in a pan.
  3. Add Mustard Seeds & wait for them to crackle.
  4. Add Asafoetida & Curry Leaves, Ginger, Garlic & Chilli Paste, Mashed Potatoes, Turmeric, salt (to taste) & Coriander Leaves and mix everything well and cook for some more time.
  5. Remove the potato Filling in different bowl and let it cool.
  6. Now take the French Loaf and cut slices. Brush with butter on both sides and warm them on pan.
  7. Next spread the spicy chutney and sweet chutney. Spread the potato filling evenly and top it up with onion chopped.
  8. Italian Style Vada Pav Bruschetta is already to eat.
