Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oil 2 tbsp
  2. Jeera 1 tsp
  3. Hing a pinch
  4. Shimla mirch 250 gms
  5. Potato 3 medium
  6. Tomato 3 large
  7. Salt as required
  8. Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Jeera powder 1 tsp
  10. Dhania powder 1 tsp
  11. Garam masala 1 tsp
  12. Lal mirch powder 1/2 tsp


  1. Slice the onions.
  2. Take a wok and add oil when heated, add jeera and hing.
  3. Add onions and saute well. Let it rest for a few minutes.
  4. Add shimla mirch and potato. Mix well.
  5. Add in all the dry masala and mix well.
  6. At this stage add tomatoes and do not mix. They should be on top of the sabji.
  7. Let it cook for sometime. Stir occasionally.
  8. Serve with hot chapati.
