ABOUT Paneer besan chilla RECIPE

A sumptuous and healthy breakfast for a lovely morning. Easy to make and yummy to eat.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For chilla
  2. 1 cup besan/ gram flour
  3. Salt,to taste
  4. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. Water,as required
  6. Oil,as required
  7. For the filling
  8. 1/2 cup paneer/ cottage cheese
  9. 1/2 cup chopped vegetables ( carrot, capsicum,beans)
  10. 1 onion
  11. 1-2 green chillies
  12. Salt,to taste
  13. 1 tsp oil


  1. To make chilli,add water to gram flour and make a lump free batter.
  2. Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well.
  3. To make the filling,take oil in a pan and add the chopped vegetables.
  4. Add salt and green chillies and saute for 2-3 mins till they are soft.
  5. Remove from heat,let cool and then add chopped onion and grated paneer.
  6. Hear a non stick pan and put some batter on it and spread a little.
  7. Shallow fry it on both sides with little oil till golden brown.
  8. Put the filling in between and fold it.
  9. Serve it with your favorite chutney or tomato sauce.
