Achari Aalu

Ingredients to make Achari Aalu

  • ghee 2 tbsp
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp saunf
  • 1 tsp methi dana
  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • salt as per taste
  • pepper as per taste
  • Red chili powder 1/2 to 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder as per taste
  • A pinch of hing
  • Fresh coriander finely chopped

How to make Achari Aalu

  1. In a pan, heat the ghee and add jeera, methi, saunf.
  2. Saute for a minute.
  3. Add in the boiled potatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add in all the dry masalas to it and keep cooking for a few minutes on high heat. Till the potatoes get slightly roasted.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander.
