Ingredients to make Masala Upma

  • Rava 1 cup
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • green peas 1 cup
  • Small piece of ginger
  • 1 tablespoon kasuri methi
  • Some curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp rai seeds
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cups water
  • salt as per taste

How to make Masala Upma

  1. Take rava and fry it till it gets golden brown. Keep it aside.
  2. Take another pan put some oil then put rai, curry leaves, green chilies, ginger andf fry for some time.
  3. Add chopped onion, green peas, tomato, kasuri methi and fry for some more time.
  4. Add 2 cups of water, salt and let it boil then add in the fried rava to it. Simmer for 5 minutes, it is ready.
