Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Potatoes 6..7 big size
  2. Onion 1 big size
  3. Green chillies 2
  4. Curry leaves 8...10
  5. Oil for fryng onion 1 tablespoon
  6. Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  7. Salt for vadas 1 teaspoon
  8. Salt for batter 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Red pepper powder 1 teaspoon for vadas
  10. Red pepper powder for batter 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  13. Gram flour 4 ablespons
  14. Oil for frying vadas
  15. Pav buns 10
  16. Chilli garlic chutney 1 cup
  17. Green chillies fried to serve 5...6

Instructions

  1. Wash and boil potatoes
  2. Peel and mashed potatoes
  3. Chopped onion finely
  4. Put a pan on medium heat
  5. Add oil
  6. Add mustard seeds to crackle
  7. Add curry leaves
  8. Add chopped onion and green chillies
  9. Add mashed potatoes
  10. Add salt ,pepper powder and garam masala
  11. Mix well
  12. Turn off the flame
  13. Now make a thick batter of gram flour
  14. Add salt ,pepper powder and baking powder in it
  15. Make round balls of potato mixture
  16. Dip in batter and deep fry on high flame till golden
  17. Now make a slit in pav
  18. Spread some chilli garlic chutney
  19. Keep a fried vada in between
  20. Serve with fried masala green chillies
