Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Garlic pods 4nos.
  2. Achari masala:
  3. Methi dana 1tea spoon.
  4. Saunf 1table spoon.
  5. Sarson seeds 1table spoon.
  6. Kalonji.1tea spoon.
  7. Ajwain 1tea spoon.
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Red chilly powder 2table spoon.
  10. Turmeric powder 1table spoon.
  11. Mustard oil 150ml.
  12. Amchur powder 1table spoon.


  1. Peel all garlic cloves.
  2. Heat oil and put cloves in it ,saute for 30 seconds and keep aside.
  3. Now dry roast all achari masala on low flamefor 2minutes.
  4. Dry grind the spices and keep aside.
  5. Mix red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt,amchur powder and 2table spoon achari masala to the garlic cloves.
  6. Put in a glass/ceramic jar.Cover and keep in sunlight for one week.
  7. Pickle is ready in one week.Consume with roti / puri/rice.
