Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 bunch fenugreek(methi) leave
  2. 1 bowl green peas
  3. 1 big onion finely chopped
  4. 2 green chilli chopped
  5. 1 spoon ginger - garlic paste
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. 1/2 spoon turmeric (optional )
  8. 1/2 spoon red chilli powder
  9. 1 spoon sugar
  10. 2 spoon ghee
  11. 10- 12 cashew soaked in warm water
  12. 1/2 spoon cumin
  13. 1/2 spoon garam masala powder
  14. 1 cup malai fresh

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash and chopped the methi leaves.
  2. Grind cashew to make a fine paste .
  3. Now heat a pan put ghee, add cumin and splutter them.
  4. Then add green chilli and ginger -garlic paste saute till raw smell goes away.
  5. Add chopped onion and saute until translucent.
  6. Than add cashew paste ,salt and turmeric , mix well.
  7. Add methi leaves and green peas mix well cover it and cook for 10 minutes on low flame .
  8. Stir occasionally.
  9. After 10 minutes put malai and garam masala powder .
  10. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  11. Serve with roti, pratha or naan.
