Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup yellow moong daal
  2. 1 inch pc ginger
  3. 1 green chilli
  4. Salt (to taste)
  5. 1 small capsicum (chopped)
  6. 1 medium onion (chopped)
  7. 1/2 cup corn (boiled)
  8. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  9. 1 teaspoon oil


  1. Wash and soak moong dal for around 2-3 hours.
  2. Drain the water after 2-3 hours and grind it well along with ginger and green chilli.
  3. Add salt and beat well for around 3-4 minutes to make the mixture fluffy.
  4. Take chopped capsicum, onion and corn. Mix well.
  5. Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well.
  6. Put half of the veggies mix in batter and mix well.
  7. Heat a pan. Add oil. Pour the batter in it.
  8. Sprinkle remaining veggies mix on top of it.
  9. Cover and cook on low flame.
  10. After 3-4 minutes, flip and cook the other side too.
  11. When it is cooked well, cut it into slices and serve.
