Spinach Cheese Dosa is an innovative recipe that layered with lots of veggies followed by a topping of grated cheese and coconut that are completely irresistible. Kids gonna loved it and will ask again & again.

Spinach Cheese dosa

Ingredients to make Spinach Cheese dosa

  • rice 2 cup
  • Urad lentils 1 cup
  • spinach 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 2
  • ginger 1 inch
  • carrot 1
  • tomato 1
  • onion 1
  • peas 1/2 cup
  • Grated cheese 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • salt 1 tbs
  • Black pepper 1 tbs
  • Chaat masala 1 tbs

How to make Spinach Cheese dosa

  1. Soak the rice and lentils overnight. Next day grind the rice grain with required water into fine paste. Next grind the urad lentils with water into fine paste. Now combine the batter and keep it aside for fermentation for atleast 5 hrs.
  2. Clean , chop and boil the spinach and grind them with green chilli and ginger. Boil the green peas and chop the veggies. Add some chaat masala and salt to the veggies & set aside.
  3. Now transfer the batter and pour the spinach paste , salt and mix well.
  4. Now preheat a non stick pan and brush some butter. Now spread the dosa batter and then spread onion, carrot , tomato, boiled peas, grated cheese. Next sprinkle grated coconut ,black pepper , chaat masala over it.
  5. Next drizzle some oil and cover the lid and cook the vegetables and cheese for 10 minutes.
  6. After that open the lid and again drizzle some oil and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Next when its done serve hot with kids favorite dip and sauce.

My Tip:

You can use your kids favorite toppings.
