ABOUT Cotton Cheese Cake RECIPE

It is not like a normal cake. It melts in your mouth and is very tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 cup cream cheese
  2. 4 tbsp butter
  3. 6 tbsp cake flour
  4. 3 tbsp cornflour
  5. 1/4 tsp salt
  6. 6 tbsp granulated sugar
  7. 6 eggs
  8. 100 ml milk
  9. 1 tbsp lemon juice


  1. Combine cream cheese, milk and butter.
  2. Heat over a double boiler and whisk until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Separate the eggs.
  4. Sift flour, cornflour and salt into the cheese mixture.
  5. Mix well, add the yolks and lemon juice. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
  6. Whisk egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form.
  7. Add 1/3 meringue into egg mixture and fold in. Continue with the rest of the meringue.
  8. Fold in gently until combined.
  9. Pour into butter paper lined cake tin.
  10. Preheat oven to 160 degree centigrade. Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes with a water bath.
  11. Chill overnight and serve.
