ABOUT Egg Dosa With Mixed Herbs RECIPE

This is how my kid loves to have dosa. I have not used cheese in this recipe however you can add cheese which taste amazingly tasty. This is an easy and quick recipe for killing anytime hunger pangs, breakfast or brunch and kids tiffin box too. So here is our traditional south indian crepe in videshi flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 1/2 cup Dosa Batter
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 2 tbsp Oil / butter
  4. 1 tsp mixed herb
  5. 1/2 tsp Chilly flakes
  6. Tomato sauce for serving
  7. Salt and pepper for seasoning the egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl break the eggs, season with salt and pepper and whisk nicely.
  2. Heat a tawa and grease it with oil or butter.
  3. When the tawa is hot, pour a ladle full of batter in the center of the tawa. With the back of the ladle spread the batter from center towards the edges of the tawa and form a circle. 
  4. Drizzle oil in the edges and in the center of the dosa and cook on high for a min.
  5. Pour some egg mixture in the centre and spread it with a help of a spoon.
  6. Sprinkle the herbs and chilly flakes and cook till the base and edges are golden and crisp. 
  7. Flip over and cook the other side for 30 seconds to 1 min. 
  8. Serve it with tomato sauce or any sauce of your choice.
