Beans and chickpeas veg burritos

Ingredients to make Beans and chickpeas veg burritos

  • wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
  • oil - 3 tbsp
  • onion - 1 (chopped)
  • capsicum - 2
  • carrot - 1 (small)
  • Beetroot - 1/2
  • tomato - 1
  • Boiled Red kidney beans - 1/2 cup
  • Boiled chickpeas - 1/2 cup
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Sour cream - 2 tbsp
  • Veg mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
  • cilantro - 1 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese - 3 tbsp

How to make Beans and chickpeas veg burritos

  1. Knead a dough from wheat flour, adding enough water.
  2. Make 4 tortillas (roti) from dough.
  3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan.
  4. Add cumin seeds.
  5. When it crackle, add chopped onions and sauté.
  6. Add garlic paste and sauté.
  7. Add chilli and garam masala powder.
  8. Add salt.
  9. Add boiled red kidney beans and chickpeas.
  10. Mix all well.
  11. Add chopped veggies and cook for sometimes.
  12. Filling of burritos is ready.
  13. Chop all veggies finely.
  14. Blend sour cream, mayonnaise , lemon juice and cilantro together.
  15. Dip is ready.
  16. Place tortilla on plain surface.
  17. Divide filling mixture in 4 part.
  18. Put 1 part of filling mixture on 1 tortilla.
  19. Pour mayonnaise dip on beans filling.
  20. Put remaining chopped veggies over dip.
  21. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese over veggies.
  22. Roll tortillas from both side.
  23. Cook on tava or bake in oven for 5 minutes.
  24. Beans and veg burritos are ready.
  25. Cut from middle and serve immediately.
