Mixed Fritters

Ingredients to make Mixed Fritters

  • Brinjal 1 medium sized
  • potato 1
  • green chillies 4
  • besan 1 bowl
  • cornflour 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • onion seed 1/4 tsp
  • water as required
  • sugar 1/4 tsp
  • oil as required to fry
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp

How to make Mixed Fritters

  1. Take a big bowl and add the besan, cornflour, sugar, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, oil and mix it well. Add water and prepare a smooth and thick batter.
  2. Cut the vegetables along with their skin. The brinjal should be slit long, potato round and medium in width and whole green chillies along with it's stick.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add 2 tsp of this hot oil into the batter. Dip each of the vegetable pieces in the batter one by one and deep fry them.
  4. Then remove from the oil and sprinkle chaat masala on top.
  5. Serve it with pickle.
