Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rajma 1 cup, soaked overnight
  2. Garlic cloves 5-6 crushed
  3. Ginger 1"
  4. Tomato 1
  5. Onion 1
  6. Cloves 3
  7. Cinnamon stick 1
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Ghee- 1 tbsp
  10. Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  12. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  13. Rajma masala- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil the rajma in a pressure cooker with some salt, cloves, cinnamon, crushed garlic and grated ginger. Let it cook till 6-7 whistles blow.
  2. Grind the onion, tomato and 2 cloves of garlic to form a paste.
  3. In a pan, heat the desi ghee, add the jeera to it along with the paste and saute. When the paste leaves the ghee, add in the regular masalas with the rajma masalas and coriander.
  4. Take out the cloves and cinnamon stick from the cooked rajma. Pour it into a pan, add in some water. Cover and let it cook for a few minutes.
  5. Serve it hot with rice.
