ABOUT Kesar Dry Fruit Shrikhand RECIPE

A healthy hungcurd recipe with nutty and saffron flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Curd 1 litre
  2. Honey 3 tbsp
  3. Powdered dry fruits 1tbsp
  4. Saffron one tsp
  5. Warm water 1 tsp


  1. Take a muslin cloth or any cotton handkerchief, pour the curd into it. Tie it carefully so that the curd doesn't leak out.
  2. Now hang this cloth for about three hours so that all the water from the curd drains out.
  3. Take a small bowl with warm water and soak the saffron.
  4. Now open the cloth and remove the curd from it and spread it on another dry sheet of cloth.
  5. Leave it for about 2 hours.
  6. Now that all the water from the curd has dried up. Hung curd is ready to be used for making shrikhand.
  7. Take a deep bowl, into this add the hung curd.
  8. Now add honey, soaked saffron and nuts.
  9. Whisk this nicely so that all the ingredients blend into each other very well. Place it in fridge to cool it.
  10. Our Kesar Dry Fruit Shrikhand is ready. Serve with hot puris.
