Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 5-6 boiled potatoes
  2. 250gm soaked chick peas
  3. Salt
  4. Amla pieces
  5. Butter
  6. Ghee
  7. 1 tea spoon jeera
  8. Hing
  9. Kasuri methi
  10. 1.5 tea spoon turmeric powder
  11. 2 tea spoon red chili powder
  12. 2 tea spoon dhaniya powder
  13. Jeera powder
  14. Chopped onion
  15. Garam masala
  16. 5-6 chopped tomatoes
  17. Chole masala
  18. Amchur powder
  19. Chopped fresh green coriander leaves
  20. Pomegranate
  21. Slices of mango
  22. Imli chutney
  23. For filling
  24. Boiled chick peas or grated paneer
  25. Chat masala
  26. Chopped dryfryuits

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes, soak chick peas overnight
  2. Boil chick peas with salt and amla
  3. Make puree of tomatoes,onion,ginger and green chillies, take out some boiled chick peas or paneer mash it add chat masala, mash potatoes
  4. Take small portion of mashed potatoes make it flat add filling and cover it and again make it flat
  5. Take tawa put tikki and roast it by putting butter
  6. Take kadai put oil jeera hing and add puree add all spices except Kasuri methi mix all together as it starts leaving sides add boiled chick peas mix well add Kasuri methi and ghee and cover it to boil
  7. Take tikki cut horizontally put chole garnish with imli chutney pomegranate chopped onion n green coriander leaves
  8. Tikki chole ready to serve
