Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 kg mutton
  2. Mix yellow moong & red lentils dal abt 4 cups
  3. Green chilly 8
  4. Ginger paste 2 teaspoon
  5. Garlic paste 3 teaspoon
  6. Red chilly pwdr 2 & a 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric 1/2teaspoon
  8. Coriander pwdr 3 & a 1/2teaspoon
  9. Garam masala pwdr 1/2teaspoon
  10. Khada garam masala:
  11. 3 LAung
  12. Black cardamon 1
  13. Green cardamon 4
  14. Tez patta 2
  15. Zeera 2 teaspoon
  16. Shah zeera 1teaspoon
  17. Dalchini 1inch
  18. Phool 3 petals
  19. Javitri 1
  20. Kari leaves 1 full stick
  21. Salt to taste


  1. First wash the mutton properly and daal also
  2. Now add mutton and green chilly chopped onions,ginger garlic paste all the spices pwders and khada garam masala and pressure cook till 4 whistles or till the mutton is properly tender..
  3. Now saute till the oil separates...
  4. Now take daal in a pressure cooker add lil chopped onion 2 green chillies from the same 1 tez patta some kari leaves turmeric pwdr and salt to taste pressure cook for 2-3whistles or till the daal is done...
  5. In between the whistles add sliced or cubed bottle gourd pieces and give a whistle to it...
  6. Now mix both in a same wok and boil for some time..
  7. Now switch off the flame and give it a baghaar of finely chopped garlic, lil chopped onion and green cardamon in ghee or oil ....
  8. Garnish it with chopped coriander...
