ABOUT Desi Thandai Syrup RECIPE

Thandai is an Indian tradition cooler to save you from summers. It is royal and full of dry fruits.

Ingredients Serving: 15

  1. Almond- 3- tbsp
  2. Cashew- 1- tbsp
  3. Funnel Seeds- 1/2- tbsp
  4. Pistachios- 1- tbsp
  5. Melon seeds- 1- tbsp
  6. Black pepper- 1- tbsp
  7. Green Cardamon- 1- tbsp
  8. Posat- 1- tbsp
  9. Saffron- 6- pinch
  10. Gulkand- 4- tbsp
  11. Sugar- 300- gram
  12. Water- 700- ml


  1. In a bowl soaked almomds for 6 hours.
  2. In another bowl soaked all the dryfruits and spices. Save sugar, saffron and water.
  3. After 6 hours peel off the almonds.
  4. In a mixer jar add almonds, and all soaked material. Grind it super fine.
  5. In a big vessel, add water and suger. Let the suger dissolve completely.
  6. Now add grinded paste and saffron. Cook it for 10-15 minutes on medium flame.
  7. Turn off the gas and let it cool.
  8. Syrup is ready.
  9. Fill in a bottle and store it in fridge for 20 days.
