Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Beans, finely chopped - 1 cup
  2. Carrot, finely chopped - 1 cup
  3. Coconut grated - 1/4 cup
  4. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  5. Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
  6. Salt - to taste


  1. In a vessels, add the beans and carrot. Add half a measure of water to it.
  2. Cover it with a lid and let the vegetables cook.
  3. In a pan, heat oil, add the mustard seeds and let it crackle.
  4. Add the beans and carrot mix, salt and let it cook just until the excess water evaporates.
  5. Add the grated coconut and mix well.
  6. Serve it hot with rasam rice.
