Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour - 1- cup
  2. All purpose flour - 1/2- cup
  3. Grated beetroot- 1/2- cup
  4. Fresh coriander- 50- gm
  5. Ghee - 2- tbsp
  6. Ajwain - 1/2- tsp
  7. Salt - 1- tsp
  8. Chopped dry fruits - 2- tbsp
  9. Mawa- 1/2- cup
  10. Grated coconut - 3- tsp
  11. Amchur powder- 1/2- tsp
  12. Coriander powder- 1/2- tsp
  13. Red chilli powder- 1/2- tsp
  14. Oil- 1- cup

Instructions

  1. First make puree of beetroot using little water and then make Coriander puree using little water.
  2. Take a bowl and combine wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt ,ajwain and ghee .Mix them well .
  3. Divide this mix into three equal parts . 
  4. Take one part of flour mix and make plain dough using water.
  5. Then take second part of flour mix and make dough by using beetroot puree. 
  6. Then take third part of flour mix and make dough by using Coriander puree.
  7. All three colour doughs are ready .
  8. Make cylinderical logs of all three doughs in same size.
  9. Combine all three logs together to make one log and smoothen it.
  10. Now cut the dough into small pieces to make pooris. Keep them aside .
  11. For filling, combine dry fruits,mawa, coconut and all spices and mix them well.
  12. For frying, first take a piece of tricolour dough. flaten it and add oil for filling.
  13. Tightly pack filling inside the dough and take rolling pin and roll the dough to make kachori.
  14. Heat oil
  15. Put 3 kachoris at the same time in oil for frying. keep the flame medium
  16. Take out kachoris from oil when they become crispy from both sides.
  17. Kachoris are ready to serve, you can have it with sauce and chutney.
