Methi Aloo Paratha

Ingredients to make Methi Aloo Paratha

  • For dough:
  • Plain flour - 2 cup
  • yogurt 1/4 cup
  • Refined oil - 2 tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp

How to make Methi Aloo Paratha

  1. Take a bowl add flour and make a super soft dough. Cover with a muslin cloth and rest it for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile we will make the stuffing.
  2. Take a mixing bowl add mashed potato and all other ingredients except oil and dry fenugreek leaves and mix it properly.
  3. Take the dough and separate it in 4 equal size round ball. Take a ball and add stuffing in the middle of it, then again make a round ball. Repeat the same process with others also.
  4. Take some dry flour and make the round paratha with the help of belan (You can use roti or chapati maker also). Sprinkle some water on the top of it and spread dry fenugreek leaves. Press it gently.
  5. On a tawa, add oil and keep on the flame. Place the paratha onto the hot pan and fry it. Maintain the same process for others also.
  6. Enjoy your paratha with curd or pickle.
