Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm desi parval medium sized
  2. 250 gm Khoya/mawa
  3. 1/2 cup grated coconut
  4. 1/2 cup sugar
  5. 1 cup water
  6. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  7. Green food colour a few drops (Optional)
  8. Food colour orange a few drops (Optional)
  9. Dry fruits (almonds, cashew) 1/2 cup
  10. Silver sheet (chandi ka varak) as required


  1. Roast mawa and leave to cool down.
  2. Boil sugar in 1 cup of water.
  3. Peel and remove seeds of parval by cutting it slightly from the center. Cook for 10 minutes in chashni.
  4. If you want to improve its colour, you can add 4 drops of green colour. Take parval out from the chashni and keep aside.
  5. Put coconut, finely chopped dry fruits (almond and cashew), 2 tbsp powdered sugar and 1 tsp cardamom powder in mawa. Mix thoroughly. Filling is ready.
  6. Fill the parval. Decorate with silver sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
