Dal Toofani

Ingredients to make Dal Toofani

  • 1 cup Tuar dal
  • 4 Green chilli
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • Pinch turmeric powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon Shahi biryani masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon ghee

How to make Dal Toofani

  1. Take one tablespoon oil in a pan.
  2. Put jeera and let it crackle.
  3. Add paste (garlic, green chilli, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, shahi biryani masala).
  4. Wash tuar dal and add into it.
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Add water and pressure cook up to 4 whistle.
  7. Serve hot with rice or paratha.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and ghee.
