Ingredients to make Labanga Latika

  • all purpose flour 2 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • oil to make a dough 2 tbsp
  • mawa 2 cup
  • sugar powder 2 tbsp
  • Milk powder 2 tbsp
  • Crushed dry fruits 1 cup
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • clove 10-15
  • oil for deep frying 2 cup

How to make Labanga Latika

  1. Make a smooth dough with refined flour, baking powder and refined oil. Keep aside.
  2. Take a frying pan, heat it and add Mawa, stir continuously. Add sugar powder, dry fruits and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  3. Now spread a small dough, fill the center with fillings and fold four sides. Prick with clove. So filling will not come out.
  4. Then deep fry and serve.
