Ingredients to make Malpua

  • Refined flour or maida 2 cups
  • Suji or semolina 3/4 cup
  • 11/2 cups sugar
  • 1 big ripe banana
  • 1 tsp saunf
  • thickened milk 1 cup
  • water as required
  • Oil or ghee for frying

How to make Malpua

  1. Soak the sugar and semolina for few hours in water.don't put too much water.
  2. Then before frying add flour, thickened milk,mashed banana and saunf.
  3. Give a nice mix so that there is no lumps.
  4. Add water if required.
  5. Don't make the batter too thin.

My Tip:

Don't put too much milk otherwise the malpus will not come out in a nice shape.
