ABOUT Paneer Malpua RECIPE

Much popular sweet, Malpua has number of varieties. This paneer Malpua is not only tasty but also a healthy dessert. Sugar syrup adds to a wonderful taste.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For Malpua: 100 Gram Malai Paneer
  2. 3 Tbsp Khoya
  3. 8 tsp Milk
  4. 1 tsp Powdered sugar
  5. 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  6. 2 tbsp maida
  7. 1 cup ghee
  8. For Sugar Syrup:
  9. 1 cup sugar
  10. 1 Cup water
  11. 1/4 tsp saffron
  12. 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  13. 1 tsp Dry Fruits


  1. For Preparing Malpuas:
  2. First make a batter of paneer pieces, Khoya and 4 tsp milk in a mixer grinder.
  3. Beat it enough to get a thick smooth batter.
  4. Pour the batter in a bowl and add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and maida.
  5. Add more milk if required and beat it well.
  6. Now in a pan heat ghee to make malpuas.
  7. Drop about a tablespoon of the batter into it and cook until light brown on both sides.
  8. For preparing Sugar Syrup:
  9. In another pan add sugar and water. Let the sugar dissolve.
  10. Add saffron for fragrance and mix well.
  11. Add cardamom powder and dry fruits. Mix and boil it for thick smooth syrup.
  12. Immerse malpuas in sugar syrup for 10-15 minutes.
  13. After malpua soaks the syrup, serve it hot garnished with dry fruits.
