Ingredients to make Mysore pak

  • besan 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • ghee 1 cup
  • water 1 cup
  • Powderd sugar 1 spoon for garnishing
  • Chopped almonds for garnishing

How to make Mysore pak

  1. Sieve the besan and keep aside
  2. Grease the tray with oil and keep ready.
  3. Boil sugar and water till one string consistancy
  4. Start adding besan partly by mixing so that no lumps are formed.
  5. Start adding ghee partly till the besan leaves its side
  6. Quickly put the mixture in greased try
  7. Make the surface or the mixture smooth and garnish with almonds
  8. Let it cool
  9. Cut in pieces and garnish with powderd sugar and serve
