Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Glutenous rice flour 2 cups
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Pineapple essence 1-2 drops
  4. Orange essence 1-2 drops
  5. Lemon essence 1-2 drops
  6. Blue edible colour 1-2 drops
  7. Yellow edible colour 1-2 drops
  8. Green edible colour 1-2 drops


  1. Mix the sugar and rice flour, then add water and mix with a fork to avoid lumps.
  2. Microwave this smooth paste for 2 minutes on a high heat.
  3. Now mix it again in a large vessel using your hands to give a clean and non-sticky texture.
  4. Once again microwave this dough for 2 minutes after adding 1/2 cup of water to it.
  5. Make a smooth dough again, then cut the dough into three equal parts. Add different flavors and colours to all the four parts.
  6. Make smooth pipe like shapes of different colours and tie them all together.
  7. Cut into small size pieces and make small balls using a little water on your palms to avoid stickiness.
  8. Your fruit flavored Mochi is ready to be served.
