Ingredients to make Pumpkin Curry

  • pumpkin 4or 5 cups,cut into small pieces.
  • onion 1
  • ginger,chopped 1tsp
  • garlic ,chopped 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1tsp
  • 1 1/2 cup water

How to make Pumpkin Curry

  1. In 3 tbsp oil, fry curry leaves.
  2. Then add chopped onion, ginger & garlic and fry well till onion is well fried.
  3. Then add pumpkin pieces. Add turmeric,chilli & coriander powders. Fry well for 2,3 min. Then add water & salt.cover & cook for 10 minutes, or till pumpkin is cooked & all water has evaporated.
  4. Pumpkin Curry is ready.

My Tip:

If you want it a bit spicy, you can add a little more chilli powder. Pumpkin lends a mild sweetness to the dish
