Super tasty, fulfilling energy munchies and healthy Granola Bars, loaded with the goodness of jaggery

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Oats 2 cups
  2. Almonds 2 tablespoon
  3. Pistachios 2 tablespoon
  4. Cranberries 2 tablespoon
  5. Raisins 2 tablespoon
  6. Rice crisps 2 tablespoon
  7. Crushed cornflakes 4 tablespoon
  8. Grated coconut 2 tablespoon
  9. Flaxseeds 2 tablespoon
  10. Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  11. Chocochips 2 tablespoon
  12. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Jaggery 3/4 Cup
  14. Honey 1/4 cup
  15. Unsalted butter 1/4 cup


  1. Roast the oats and flax seeds on a low flame.
  2. Coarsely chop the almonds, pistachios and cranberries.
  3. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except butter, salt, honey and jaggery.
  4. Take the jaggery and butter together in a pan and melt it on a very low heat.
  5. When it has melted completely, take it off the gas, add honey and salt to it and mix well.
  6. Let the liquid mixture cool down a little, then pour it over the dry mixture and mix everything well with a spatula such that the dry mix gets coated properly.
  7. Line a 9*13inch baking pan with foil.
  8. Pour the mixture over it and press evenly with a spatula.
  9. Refrigerate it for an hour.
  10. Take it out and cut it into rectangle or square shape with a sharp knife. Store it in air tight container in the refrigerator. Cover each bar either in foil or parchment paper as it 'll be sticky.
