Bajra Laddu

Ingredients to make Bajra Laddu

  • bajra flour 1 cup.
  • jaggery 1/2 cup ( grated )
  • ghee 3 tbsp
  • almonds blanched and chopped ( 2 tbsp )
  • Roasted sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  • Dried ginger powder / Tea masala (I used tea masala) 1 tsp
  • cardamom powder 1tsp

How to make Bajra Laddu

  1. Dry roast Bajra flour in a pan. ( you can add 1tsp of ghee to make the process easy)
  2. As you smell the aroma of the flour, put the gas off and let it cool.
  3. Add jaggery and mix well. Add Almonds, tea masala, sesame seeds.
  4. Add melted ghee and mix well. Make laddus .
  5. This will make 12 laddus.

My Tip:

Kids don't prefer Bajra a lot. So you can help them eat this iron rich grain. Adjust ghee and jaggery according to your taste. This will give moderate sweet 12 laddus of a lemon Size.
