Ingredients to make Aamle Ke Lonji

  • gooseberry 250 gm
  • jaggery 100 gm
  • sugar 100 gm
  • salt 1 tsp
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • fenugreek 1/4 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp

How to make Aamle Ke Lonji

  1. wash and boil gooseberry
  2. Let it cool. separate pieces
  3. Add oil in pan add fenugreek. asafoetida. fennel seeds .
  4. Add gooseberry bites, add salt sugar jaggery red chilli powder add 1 cup water let it cook over slow flame till gooseberry absorbs all liquid
  5. Amla lonji is ready
