ABOUT Green Chilly Garlic Thecha RECIPE

Its a traditional Maharashtrian recipe, rustic and pungent, perfectly accompanied with rotis or bhakris. I've made this my way though I invite comments from traditionalists for authenticity. Its a simple recipe with merely 4 ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Spicy Green Chillies 01 dozen
  2. Medium Garlic flakes 5
  3. Salt 1/2 tsp or as per taste
  4. Oil 1 1/2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grind the chillies and garlic along with the salt.
  2. In a seasoning spoon, add the oil and let it heat. Put in this coarse mixture and let cook for about a couple of minutes until the oil seeps out.
  3. Let cool and then eat with rotis. Tip : The spice content is very high so take care.
