ABOUT Instant Brinjal Kondattam RECIPE

This easy recipe can be prepared in mocrowave oven in just 6 minutes. Brinjal kondattam can be served as a side dish with steamed rice. It is crunchy at the edges and has soft centres. These brinjal slices are seasoned with the the perfect blend of spices.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Thinly sliced brinjal 2
  2. Curd 1/4 cup
  3. Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  5. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt as required
  8. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  9. Chaat masala 1/4 tsp
  10. Oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix together the red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and garam masala powder.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and curd to this mixture and mix well.
  3. To this mixture, add the thinly sliced brinjal pieces.
  4. Lightly grease a micro safe glass dish.
  5. Place the marinated brinjal slices in a single layer.
  6. Microwave at high temperature for 4 minutes.
  7. Then flip the sides of each brinjal slices and microwave for another 2 minutes.
  8. Just before serving, sprinkle with lemon juice and chaat masala.
