Ingredients to make Sanja/Thuli/Daliya

  • Daliya/Thuli/Sanja/Broken wheat 1 cup
  • Chopped veggies of your choice (I have used carrots, corn kernels, peas, baby corn, tomato)
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chili chopped
  • turmeric Powder
  • Red chili powder
  • coriander Powder
  • salt
  • sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves

How to make Sanja/Thuli/Daliya

  1. Dry roast daliya and keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a wok add mustard seeds cumin seeds green chili and all veggies
  3. Add red chili powder turmeric powder coriander powder roasted daliya salt and sugar
  4. Saute and cook for 2-3 minutes
  5. Carefully add 5-6 cups of water
  6. Cook uncovered on high heat for 5-6 minutes or till properly cooked
  7. Transfer to serving plate garnish with coriander leaves and serve
