Ingredients to make Vegetable gold coin

  • Bread slices 10
  • all purpose flour 1/2 cup
  • sesame seeds for sprinkling
  • oil for Deep frying
  • To be mixed together in to a topping:-
  • Boiled,peeled mashed potatoes 2 cup
  • Finely chopped carrot 1/4 cup
  • Chopped onions 1/2 cup
  • Chopped capsicum 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped green chillies 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Vegetable gold coin

  1. Combine the plain flour and approx. half cup of water in a bowl.mix well to make a thick paste .keep aside.
  2. Cut the bread slices in to approx. 62 mm diameter rounds with the help of cookie cutter .
  3. Place 3 bread roundels on a clean dry surface ,place approx.1 tbsp of the topping over each bread roundels and spread it evenly.
  4. Pour a little plain flour water mixer evenly over it .
  5. Sprinkle a little sesame seeds over the plain flour water mixture .
  6. Repeat step 3-5 to make 7 more gold coins.
  7. Heat the oil in a deep nonstick pan and deep fry 3 gold coins at a time ,till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides .
  8. Drain on an absorbent paper .
  9. Serve with red chilli sauce.
