ABOUT Rohu Fish Fry RECIPE

This is also one of the simplest fish fry recipe of mine. Savour this as a side dish. I usually buy this fish in little large quantity and fry it and store it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. And add them to dal / Potato Curry and even make fish curry. Taste awesome.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rohu Fish - 300 gms
  2. Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  3. Chilly powder - 2 tsp
  4. Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  5. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  6. Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish with the above ingredients. The longer the marination the better.
  2. In a frying pan heat oil.
  3. When the oil is hot, lower the heat and add the fish in batches and deep fry in the oil till golden.
  4. Drain and squeeze the lemon over the fish just before serving and serve it along with onions and green chillies.
