Indian Cucumber Dosas..

Ingredients to make Indian Cucumber Dosas..

  • Yellow cucumber 1 cup
  • Raw rice soaked 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • ginger 1" piece
  • green chillies 2 or 3
  • coriander leaves chopped a handful
  • water just a little

How to make Indian Cucumber Dosas..

  1. Wash and soak the rice for 2 hours or better still overnight.
  2. Cut the cucumber into small pieces and discard the seeds.
  3. Blend all the ingredients to a thick batter just like that of the regular dosa batter
  4. Make dosas as usual.
  5. Serve them hot with any chutney. I served them with onion and tomato chutney.

My Tip:

Whichever cup you are using for the measurement, use the same one for the rice and the cucumber pieces. Both should be equal in quantity. I used the standard measuring cup.
