ABOUT Methi Na Dhebra RECIPE

Methina Dhebra is Indian bread made up of fenugreek leaves along with wheat flour,, bajra flour and Bengal gram flour along with spices. It is most common in our Gujarati homes during winters.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup Wheat Flour
  2. 1 3cup pearl millet flour(bajri)
  3. 13 cup Bengal gramdal flour
  4. 2 tbsp Oil
  5. 1 tbsp greenchilly and garlic paste
  6. Salt
  7. 2 tbsp grated jaggery
  8. 1 cup freshly chopped fenugreeks leaves
  9. 4 tbsp curd
  10. half tbsp turmeric
  11. 1 tbsp red chilly powder
  12. Water for kneading dough

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add all three flours.
  2. Add oil and salt and mix flour well
  3. Add fenugreeks leaves , red chilly powder, turmeric , curd and jaggery and knead dough like paratha.
  4. Now make medium balls of lemon size and roll it on rolling pin.
  5. Heat tawa griddle and cook it on both sides till brown spots appear on it apply oil and cook it for 1 min more .
  6. tasty dhebra are ready . goes for tiffin , snacks or even dinner .
