Ingredients to make Wheatflour Kulcha

  • 2 cups Wheatflour
  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/ 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp mitha soda
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1/2 cup luke warm water
  • ghee 50 gm
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon kalonji seeds

How to make Wheatflour Kulcha

  1. Take all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl ,
  2. Mix it properly ,
  3. Then add Oil,curd,milk and mix it. add some lukewarm water and make a dough,
  4. Cover with a wet cloth and leave to rest for 2 to 3 hrs
  5. After 2 to 3 hrs this dough should double in sized
  6. Remove the wet cloth and knead once again
  7. Now take a tennis ball size dough in a rolling pad sprinkle some dry flour, press the dough lightly add some chopped coriander leaves and Kalonji on the dough
  8. Now help of rolling pin make chapati but not very thin
  9. Heat a nonstick skillet and place the kulcha on it
  10. In few seconds the bubbles will appear on the surface
  11. Now take some ghee/butter on the kulcha and spread evenly.
  12. Serve
