Ingredients to make Methika Paratha

  • fenugreek leaves (Methi) – 100 gm
  • wheat flour – 100 gm
  • Red chili powder - seeds – ½ tea spoon
  • turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
  • Ajwan powder – 1 tea spoon
  • Ground nut oil – ½ cup
  • salt – as per taste

How to make Methika Paratha

  1. Cut the methi finely.
  2. Into the plate mix the methi, atta, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Ajwan powder & salt.
  3. With the rolling pin make round shape Methi paratha.
  4. On a low gas flame spread the oil and put it on Methi Paratha and baked from the both side by applying oil as per your taste and serve hot.

My Tip:

Importance of Recipe :- :) a. Methi/ fenugreek leaves helps to reduce cholesterol level. b. Fenugreek is rich in fibre and antioxidants, it helps in flushing out harmful toxins from the body & fenugreek slows down the rate of sugar absorption into blood.
