ABOUT Egg Parata RECIPE

A delicious roti for breakfast, with maida and egg that can be taken without any accompaniment.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Maida 11/2 cups
  2. Yeast 1/2 tsp
  3. sugar 1tsp
  4. water 2 tbsp
  5. Salt
  6. Curd 2 tbsp
  7. oil 2 tbsp
  8. Water,enough to make dough.
  9. Egg 3
  10. Onions (chopped) 1
  11. Green chillies 2 (chopped)
  12. Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  13. Salt

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1 tsp sugar and 2 tbsp of warm water. keep aside to ferment.
  2. Take a bowl , put maida & salt,oil & curd .mix well. Then add dissolved yeast. Knead to a smooth dough adding enough water. Keep aside, covered for 2 -3 hrs.
  3. Take 1 egg. Beat well, adding 1/3 of the portion of onions & green chillies & coriander leaves.
  4. Make 6 balls out of the dough. roll into thin chappathi
  5. Heat a pan, put the roti on the pan, cook one side well. Then flip it.
  6. Apply 1/2 of the egg mixture on top of the roti. don't allow egg mix to run out of the roti.
  7. Fold it in a triangular shape, keeping back all egg mixture, if it runs out of the pan, get it back into roti
  8. Cook well on both sides. pressing it, add 1 tsp oil around the roti.
  9. Remove when it is cooked.
  10. Repeat the same process with the rest of the rotis.
  11. Take one egg for two rotis each
  12. Serve hot.
