Lauki Ki Kheer

Ingredients to make Lauki Ki Kheer

  • 1 cup seed less grated bottle gourd
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  • almonds for garnishing

How to make Lauki Ki Kheer

  1. Bring the milk to a boil in a heavy bottomed pan. Boil for 10 to 12 minutes on low flame and let it reduce. Stir occasionally
  2. Add grated lauki and cook till the milk thickens. Keep stirring continuously.
  3. Add sugar and cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Add cardamom powder and mix well
  5. Keep aside to cool. Refrigerate for half an hour
  6. Serve chilled

My Tip:

You can also add dry fruits of your choice
