Ingredients to make Gajar ka achar

  • carrots - 2 big
  • mustard seeds - 1 tspn
  • Aamchoor - 1 tspn
  • salt - 1 tspn
  • haldi - 1/2 tspn
  • chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  • mustard oil - 2 to 3 tspn
  • saunf - 1 tspn

How to make Gajar ka achar

  1. Cut the carrots lengthwise, and remove the middle white stem.
  2. Add haldi.
  3. Add chilli powder
  4. Add salt, aamchoor and saunf.
  5. Grind the mustard seeds and add.
  6. In the end, add mustard oil and mix.
  7. Keep in sunlight for 24 hrs and its ready.

My Tip:

You can use yellow mustard seeds or black mustard seeds.
