Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Blanched paneer 400 gms
  2. Onion 2 small
  3. Garlic pods 3
  4. Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  5. Green chilli 2
  6. Tomato 1 small
  7. Yogurt 100 gms
  8. Kasuri methi roasted 1 tbsp
  9. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  10. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  11. Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  12. Black pepper powder 1/3 tsp
  13. Whole jeera 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat a nonstick frying pan
  2. Roast kasuri methi, for 2-3 mins
  3. Switch off gas
  4. Make ginger, garlic and onion paste
  5. Blanch paneer
  6. Make tomato and green chilli paste
  7. Keep aside
  8. Heat oil in a nonstick pan
  9. Add cubed potatoes
  10. Fry until they are red.
  11. Keep aside
  12. Now in the same pan add whole cumin seeds
  13. Add ginger, garlic and onion paste
  14. Saute for 3-4 mins
  15. Add chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder
  16. Saute for 3-4 mins
  17. Add tomato and green chilli paste
  18. Again saute for 2-3 mins
  19. Add curd
  20. Mix with the spices well
  21. Now add paneer pieces and salt
  22. Cover and cook for 5 mins
  23. So that paneer mixes well with all the spices
  24. Now add 1 cup of warm water
  25. Cook for 7-8 mins in medium heat
  26. Now add roasted kasuri methi by rubbing with your palms
  27. Serve hot with chapati, pulka or steamed rice
