Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Curd 1/2 cup
  2. Cucumber 1 cup chopped
  3. Salt- to taste
  4. Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Red chilli 1 number
  6. Curry leaves few
  7. Oil 1 teaspoon
  8. GRIND TOGETHER-
  9. Grated coconut 1 1/2 tablespoon
  10. Green chillies 4 numbers
  11. Ginger 1 inch piece
  12. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  13. Roasted channa dal 1 tablespoon
  14. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Whisk the curd well, then dilute it with 1 cup water .
  2. Dice the cucumber along with the skin into cubes. Pressure cook them for 2 whistles. Drain the water .
  3. Grind the ingredients given for grinding to a paste.
  4. In a vessel add the diluted curd, ground paste and salt mix everything well.
  5. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves, now pour the curd mixture and finally add the cooked cucumbers to it. Bring it to a boil .
  6. Serve hot with rice
