Dal puri/ Radhabollobi

Ingredients to make Dal puri/ Radhabollobi

  • 250 grams of moong dal or chana dal soaked and boiled.
  • ghee 2 tsp
  • Panch phuran ( jeera, dhania, mustard, kali jeera, meethi) seeds 1 tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves 2 tsp
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • ginger grated 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin coriander powder 1 tsp
  • oil for deep frying
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • hing a pinch
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • For the dough :
  • maida 250 grams
  • Warm water 1 cup or more as required
  • 3 tsp of oil

How to make Dal puri/ Radhabollobi

  1. Make a soft dough with warm water, oil and maida and keep aside.
  2. Now for the stuffing, heat a pan with ghee and add punch phuran
  3. Add the boiled daal, cumin coriander powder, garam masala, salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Saute till it gets dry.
  5. Mix coriander leaves and green Chillies.
  6. Now, take a ball size from the dough and flat it little. Put 2 tsp of stuffing in the middle and close the dough again like a ball.
  7. Roll it flat like poori and deep fry in medium heat oil.
  8. Serve hot with any gravy or pickle.

My Tip:

Add water as required while preparing the soft dough.
